bulletDid you know that Grad Party 2007 was able to donate $1500.00 to the auditorium renovation just because some generous donors came through at the last minute? If this year's Grad Party is in excess...which we can hardly guess at this point since we are still fundraising with the Sports Pins, Sweet Grams, All Around Portland Raffle, Senior Mug sales, and the Rummage Sale this weekend...we will give it all back to the school. This is something to consider when you support our fundraising efforts this year for Grad Party 2008. Thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts this year so far. All of these fundraising efforts are still in full swing. Read the Bulletins, the Spotlight, the Statements next month, and check out the WHS website for forms and details. Contact Sally New for more info at newsally97219@yahoo.com or 503.245.5454. [New]
bullet"All Around Portland" Raffle Tickets are still on sale: One for $5.00 or five for $20.00. Remember, we will support the Grad Party this year with all of the proceeds, and the 3 baskets are worth over $1200. With every ticket you buy, your chances increase to win one of these fantastic baskets. Who wouldn't want to go to Portland Center Stage, or Gallery Players to see a live theatre production for only $5.00? Who wouldn't want to stay at the Benson, the John Spencer Hotel or the Cloud Inn in McMinnville for only $5.00? Who wouldn't want $100.00 worth of services at Anastasia Hair Salon or a $55.00 half hour massage at the Rejuvenation Day Spa on Macadam for only $5.00? Buy your tickets on-line through the Spotlight, or pick up a form in the office, or just pick up the phone and call Nick's mom, Denice Drushella, at 503.293.131 who's worked so hard to provide these wonderful opportunities for you. Cash and checks made out to the WHS Grad Party will gladly be accepted through the Grad Party box at school or at PO Box #80113, Portland, OR. 97280-1113.
