After winning the 2007 PIL Championship, the Trojan wrestlers have done it again! They are the 2008 PIL Wrestling Champions. At the PIL District Tournament Wilson took the title and scored 344, Grant 237, Lincoln 212, Benson 149 and Franklin 96. Individual champions include: Hans Bernard* (119); Nick Herman* (140); Ian Hudson* (171); John Brooks* (189); Nick O’Donnell* (215); and Jacob Mitchell* (285). 2nd Placers include: Alex Duran* (103); Jared Casner* (112); Patrick McCarthy* (119); Hayden Herder* (135); Zach Minor* (140); Trevor Beltz* (171); and Nathan Osborne* (215). 3rd Placers include: Brent Graham* (152); Seth Auerbach* (160). All of the above with an * qualified for the OSAA State Wrestling Tournament. Additional placers include: Chris Pejakovich with 4th Place at 125; Nick Dorsey with 4th Place at 189; Bailey Graham with 5th Place at 152; and Jesse Van Mouwerick with 5th Place at 160.
